Just ended a 4D 3N getaway to Genting with my Dear Boyfriend. :)

Its been long since we had a couple holiday together and this time we went overseas to welcome the 2012!! Contented and happy that we can spend the quality time together. Eat, travel, play, rest, celebrate, sight-seeing...... Me don't have to worry about where to go cos he'll always plan and do his homework of where can we go prior travelling.. I must say i'm fortunate that i do not have to plan anything.. Hee Hee... :).. Love ya!

And i can't wait for our next holiday!

Aside from that, i had a small update with a girlfriend of mine yesterday and its sad that her new year wasn't really good. When a girl is upset, means there is something to do with relationship. Its quite disappointed to find out that after 3 years of their strong relationship together, the bf was quite close to another girl for the past 6 months. Constant msg-ing, calling..... the more i think the more angry i am. That is why i can't but to vent out my anger and disappointed in that bunch of men.

Men usually think that girl come so close to them is because they're good in handling them. They always thought that even if the girl likes them and they don't like the girl- It is super ok, and thats why still keeping in contact and talking with them its ok. Its not okay! From a girlfriend point of view, i have to stress its super not ok. It is very obvious that the 3rd party likes the guy and with this, the 3rd party will thought that she still have freaking chance of getting together with the guy. And she, act blur, act cute, try to be weak and keep on contacting the guy.. End of the day - the one which who will be hurt, jealous, sad, disappointed.... will be the girlfriend which stood by him for 3 years.

They always thought that their reasons were all correct when being confronted. But seriously not all is correct and stop thinking that everything they did is the correct thing. Can't they just don't be so close to the girl?

When a girl sets her eyes on a guy, no matter who came over to her, her motive will still be the same. After years, she will still like that guy. So its up to the guy to make the correct & righteous move.

Sometimes they may think that she is better than his gf. Sweet talking and going out with her gives them the 'kick' and freshness. Maybe they will be happy that they still got the charisma to half-hook another girl. What for? If they think that they're much more happier and high with her then might as well marry her for good. After sometimes, the feeling will fade and everything will not be that fresh anymore. This is what happened after 3 years. It is real sad if the cycle keeps on repeating itself.

If the gf keeps on knowing that he is more concern and sweet towards the 3rd party. Guess how will she feels? Whats worst, lying for the past 6 mths....... i don't understand why they can be like that? Good towards the gf and also sweet towards the 3rd party. And end of the day, say that nothing happens, merely friends.. there's nothing wrong.

They don't know what the gf had gone through. When she needs him, was he there? when she needs a hug, was he there? When she needs a sweet msg, did he sent? When she needs the truth, its all lies and lies.

Guys thought they can handle everything well.. To speak the truth, they can't even handle the 3rd party well. Don't know how to reject and prevent and holdback.

If there're something happy that you wanna share and the first person that you think of is NOT your girlfriend or future wife.. then i think its quite sad.. Shouldn't she be the first one who you want share happiness and sadness with?

3 years of love can't compare to a 6mths.. How sad can that be?

I really feel for my friend. There's nothing much i can do but just hope that everything will be back to normal for her......

OKies. Back to the post. Looking back at all the previous posts, each post has their own purpose and meaning and i'm quite happy that i jotted most of them down in the blog. At least i can see how my life fluctuates......

Hope 2012 will be a better one for all of us in terms of Work, Wealth, Health & Love.

I wanna thank God for bring me and love ones through the hard times as well as the happy times of 2011. Say bye to 2011 and Welcome 2012!! :)

1 week of High Level Plan.

This week, we're having our tight schedule of daily plan to solve, plan, integrate and implement for our Phase II stage at work. Its 8 o'clock and we're still in office. There's no OT monies but at least we can call a cab back(claimable).

Eyes were being worn out from the almost 12 hrs of staring to the screen.

Argh...i can't believe we're going to be like this for the whole 1 week. I hope not... :(

And that means i'll also be missing my gym... again~~~~~ sian....(getting fatter from prolonged sitting)

Really hope this High Level Plan can end soon~~~

It’ll be a new Beginning.

Where shall I start from, I’ve so many things in mind that I don’t know which to start with.

Work. God has been treating me kindly since my full time job in OCBC. Even though its taxing and stressful sometimes (everytime), I’m glad that I made a huge bunch of good friends there. We seldom hang out after work but life in office will be a grey one if they’re not around. Nonetheless, experience is another thumb up. Initially, I was still complaining about the job scope and as usual, office politics (I think it should be a department politics). But I find the 1.5 years of experience is really meaningful. This job to tell you the truth is really sucky in the first place. Non-stop of applications and calls and worst still sandwiched between RM and boss and credit approvals.

Until when I decided to leave the place, I find that this department had secretly trained and developed me into a more adaptable person. I’m highly trained for any job outside. Be it stress, flexibility, rush, deadline, OT, any forms of interactions………. I thought my last day will be a happy one however it turned out to be a touching one. I received lots of presents from the whole level (I’m shocked), even my VP came to gave her speech (I feel so paisay as well as being treasured). There’s one more thing I’ll miss is the 23 days leave~~~ Boo Hoo~~~~…

And I’ve learnt that once, you get into banking, try to work for 1.5 to 2 years and you’ll be highly sort after when u are looking for other jobs outside. Therefore my decision was made after I came back from Korea.

Oh! Talking about Korea, its my first and our(Penny & Gang) first time going overseas for holidays. Its also my first long trip (8 days). I’ve to say that I’m really looking forward to this trip cos its all fully paid by me(proud to save this much) and I get to spend and buy whatever I like!!  Well, Korea overall is fun with all the trying out of new things like going to the ski resorts and experiencing their culture and delicacies. It’s a shame that Singaporeans are not environmental friendly though. Well, next trip I’m aiming is Taiwan and U.S. !!! Hope I can save enuff pennies to fly over.

Anw, MY NEW company is good!!! Time is flexible, life is good, work will be stress sometimes but not that rush. But the only thing which I dislike is..…. It makes me fat… super SIAN TO THE MAX! I seldom stand and walk to other depts or anything and after lunch I’ll sit here and work till knock off. Therefore, I decided to sign up Fitness First with Abby to get ourselves trim and slim. I had just been 1 month and there’re still no signs of weight loss or any changes yet. Well, I guess it’ll take time and so we’ll see what are the results after 3 mths and 6mths.

I'm contented with the nice tables, pantry, colleagues, environment and most of all, its a job which maybe i would wanna work for long. Job scope may not be link to banking or accounting but it is a job with a specialise scope.... which i think it is quite good :)

As for Dear's, to me i think it is a relieve that he left MBS. Maybe others may not have the same thought but I’m happy that we can kind of go back to what we’re before. More time together, more talk time, more communication. And we can also enjoy unnecessary disturbance to our lives. He can have a normal live, normal slp and go out normally with close friends during weekends.

Well, I don’t really wish to reveal too much details here but I hope that all is well after this.

Its not fast nor slow but 不知不觉we’ll be reaching our 5th year soon. Wow. Truthfully, who says this is easy? Nope, it isn’t easy all. Nothing is ever easy in this world. People out there who thought that love is easy, it shows that they have never been through the tough stage of it yet I guess. Well… i’m not in the position to comment much too.. But I think my experience is one of a kind which many won’t wanna try.. Anw, maybe couples may think that I love you, you love me is enough. I don’t care what others think or I don’t even care if I did the right thing in getting him/her but end of the day I just wanna be with the one I like. If ‘Love’ can be that easy ; I want it too. If a R/S can be so easily be broken, its either the guy’s or the woman’s or both fault. After experiencing so much, I believe that real Love is more than just enjoying and be happy go lucky couple. Endurance, trustworthy, believing, compassionate, supporting, petty, jealous, arguments, principles, values…… ect.. all these contributes to the characteristics of Love. Therefore, who says it is easy?

You know women, sometimes we tend to think too much or do some silly things. Its all becos we care and love the guy we like. This applies to guys as well. Sometimes, I myself also behave like this(well… I’m a girl who want to loved too)…. Big girls, small girls, large girls, thin girls… all are petty...haha~~

Ok ok, so to summarize, it’s not easy for a couple to come together, therefore everyone really needs to treasure everyone. It’s all about 1-1. Not 2-1, 1-2, 2-2, 2-3, 3-2……

And, I’m proud to say….we got our DBSS back in April! And this also means we need to start saving. Saving=difficult. This is the only flat that I think both of us have some sort of common liking. Hope that it can build slower so that we can save more money. Well, I kind of looking forward in having my own house and living together with Dear. But he has to help out with the chores………..

All in all, lots of things have changed in these few years, work, life, r/s, experiences. It’ll never be the same as before but I believe if I work towards my goals and our goals, it’ll be much better than before.

2011 is the year of the Rabbit.......and Trust..

Happy New Year to me!!!

its been not fast nor slow and 2011 just came by. its the time for me to pend some thoughts and feelings down.

i know its gonna be a long one but hack-care lar.... i just wanna type it all out...

2010 is a year with lots of regrets, hope, savings, endurance, sadness, disappointment, over reacted, chaos, some love, some rest, tears...... urgh!!.. i can't type finish.... too much had happened in 2010. but there's this one day which i looked forward to the most, 20 10 2010. isn't it nice? (only girls will wow~~) over it. cos its a nice number, once in a million year, and its also our 4th Anniversary.

Time passed really fast or slow... i dunno. it made me think back what had we done in the first 2 years? why does 2010 seems to be like longer?!?!

Therefore to start 2011 with a good one, Dear finally went to cut his hair. which i think its one of the best thing that happened in my life.. :) he looks more handsome than before! really.. trust me.. but that will attract more bees.........hmm...... well... hope not! haha..

And to add on, i had a Gold Watch to start the year with! Thank you!

Lets all hope that 2011 will have some positive changes to our lives and ppl around us. i really hope everything will work out!

don't know why, i've been feeling all emo this past few weeks. maybe its my hormome inbalance which caused it? maybe work is bad and its killing me? maybe maybe maybe......

there's once when i'm on a train back home after OT, i turned and saw this couple playing the finger game. it made me think of the times when i'm playing with Dear. he'll always win and the guy in the train always win too! guys... long finger...how i wish someone can just block the couple so i can stop glancing at them.... so the emo me can don't miss him so much...

there's an also another article i saw on STOMP today. its been long since i hear guys said the sweetest thing ever. the article was about V.day posts by real-life couples who went thru a lot and are still in each other lovely arms till today. the guy said one of the sweetest thing. he asked the girl 'Do you know why God created spaces between our hands? so that i can hold you and we can fill up the empty spaces.' awe...... isn't that so sweet...

Anyway, its been almost 2 years since we started and tried walking throught the 'thick and thin' i believe things will turn out better and we can have more plans in the future.

i've been real busy with work lately and can't really lie down to 发空. So tonight, i sort of playing with my old Sony ericsson phone and i came across those msgs which he sent to me around 2 years ago. (ok... i confess that i'm starting to be emo again).. i'm thankful that i still kept the sweet msgs till now.. sometimes when i'm down, looking back at all those msgs makes me feel better.

sometimes, keeping your old phone is a good thing after all...

its difficult to gain it back, but i'll give it my best try.... i want it to happend :)

Another year is going to end soon :(

During 2009, i thought 2010 will be a better one, but i reckon that. Therefore, lets all hope 2011 will be a better one than 2010 ya?

hope that everything will go back to normal soon..... soon..

Even though this year is not a good one, but i've learnt alot instead. Tried my best to let go lots of things and fit in with whatever i have. I can't explain the feelings i have inside, 很不甘愿，可是又长大一些. 真的是很辛苦。But can i at least have a pass?

Speaking of holidays, how i wish i have the chance to go out and 散散心。Like the time we're in HK, its the best time of our lives. not forgetting BKK trip too. Eat and shop. This year, everyone seems to be flying away. Honeymoon 的honeymoon, holidays 的holidays. Thinking back the last place i went was phuket. those are the photos up there on top. Almost 2 years ago.

The next place i hope to go with Dear (just the 2 of us) is Taiwan. Penny just came back and said its damn damn fun. Hope that day will 实现. Maybe this time, the birthday present i'm giving myself is Korea. thats if they really confirm. Its time for me to leave S'pore for the time being.

My dream holiday is at a beach with clear blue waters. Lying in a beach chair, sipping white wine, beside me is my man is enjoying the same thing with me :)

Okay this is random. Once, i asked a close friend of mine. will she always keep her bf in mind wherever she goes or do; be it just eating ice-cream or shopping and even if she is working. Her ans is Yes. Seems like i'm normal. Be it when i'm working half way, i'll suddenly wonder what is he doing now. Or even if i smell the new edition perfume, i'll wonder if he likes it or not. So i asked her, how about guys? will they also be like the same as us. Her ans is Maybe? No?

Anyway enough about whatever that is above. Just some updates about my work: i'll be a perm in like 1 more month!.. *nothing to be happer about too* other than there's no cap for visiting doc..... *yeah!*

life in office is getting more and more difficult. i don't even have the time to go toilet don't say 冲一杯茶来喝. good thing is that i have OT pay and FYI, i'm OT-ing everyday. Tired like maddess.

At least i have more money at the end of every month to save. *trying to find reasons to make myself feel better*

Tomorrow is a new week again and i'll most prob be on OT. happy that Wed is a PH so that i can sleep everything thru on tue night and wed will be a fulfilled one.

暂时而已吗？

You're the one that i'm left with to listen to my woes..

This is a dead blog like after 5 freaking months. However, i'm glad that i still have this precious space to pend down my feelings and emotions.

As this is so slient, its a good platform for me to talk to....erm.. myself?

It is good that not many ppl will come back to see my frequent posts so i can write more of my personal life now.

The life now we had is not like 9 mths ago. Many talkings, discussions were made.. especially in the past few mths.. its like Hell...

my heart 'stops' don't know how many times.. and it just unknowingly roll down everytime my emo starts.. misery is over flowing. and i'm starting to emo more often.

Some are hidden behind doors... its just impossible to discuss it.. making it too naive and silly..

This is just a tougher stage than before and i know have to hang in there no matter what..

When the rain stops, the Rainbow will appear. i always believe in that.

I've reach the stage whereby i can forgo meet ups for as long as it can handle. however communication is important at this crucial time. as months pass, even the communication seems to give way too..

everything is all mixed up.

until the time where everything is out, that is the time i woke up.

i'm slowly changing.... sometimes i don't even know myself anymore.. sometimes i don't even have any feelings.... sometimes the more we say the more trouble it cause.

however, we girls still have lots of emo times where it was not being known to the other. we're thirsty. u can't see..

BreakOut 2010!

Hello again cyberworld! feels go great to go on to fb and blog once again. However just one more day and its back to the office again.

tried to tell myself be more optimistic but i can't do it. :( everything is sort of not going that well right now. everyone's mood is not right. haiz..

feeling so shitty.. wonder what i did for the past few years is right or not.

on course for the last 2 days at Tampines and i'm glad that i took a break from the hills of application in office.

weather was bad as ever and i'm a bit feverish right now. shit! in and out of office really makes one sick.

anyway the happy event is that i managed to watched BreakOut 2010. after hearing so much praises for the show last year, i'll not miss it this time round. also managed to persuade Dear to watch too. told him it is not some artistic thingy but don't believe until he experience with his own eyes.

All of us enjoyed the show and even queued to have our pictures taken with the whole crew!

thanks to Elson, we had the best seat and the chance to take photos too!

3 months of MAD Shopping!!!........but i love it!!!!

Its been long since i shopped to my heart content and i'm loving every moment of it!

here are the conbination of cheap and higher buys which stretched from X'mas to Chinese New Year and my Birthday.

Cheap skinfood and faceshop pdts all the way from korea - online shopping. Their service is good and fast as well. you'll be updated with the latest status of the payment and when will the pdt be shipped over singapore.

bought 2 pairs of shoes and some zara clothings for my CNY. satisfied with every buy!

And lastly, went shopping alone in orchard for my birthday and bought......

been wanting to get a nice clutch for a long time cos i do not have one..and saw this on the shelf of Aldo.

simple nice chic.

saw this shoe at gripz and its a love at first sight. it is the unique design and color of the heel that attracts me to give it a try and bought it the next moment!

Got this flower and a small pouch from my colleagues..they're soo sweet!! this is the 2nd time i received flower and it indeed cheers me up for the whole day!

And thank you Dear for the useful present!! from now on, less of going to mani & pedi cos i can pamper my foot all year long!

So far for all the buying and presents. i shall give it a rest for now and enjoy all the lovely things.

I'm really satisfied with all the buys as most of them come into really good use to me for now.

and my next goal is to save lots of money!!

YES, i know it is really hard but i'll try my very best to do it for the sake of my future. allocation of money is very important therefore i hope that i can do it. So can you!

Both of us took a damn long time to stir the stone cook rice. We prefered Pepper Lunch rice than this.

ANGELS potluck 2010.

Chinese New Year is all about gatherings, food, laughter and lots more. So the Angels grp joined in the fun and we organise our first potluck of the year!

Lots of food and cake as well!!

As you can see, we only have 8 ppl but the food is like for 15 ppl. Each and every food taste really nice!!

and we had a healthy Yu Sheng too!!! i love it!

Hui Sin bought us food from Japan as well! so nice!

Hazel's big day!!

It was last year dec where they tied the knot. efforts were put in for the decoration, planning, invitation, and dressing.

I have to say that they did a really great job into making it all possible. The place was a ZERO. and they managed to make it to 100.

A surprise video was done up in just 2 days before the big day and we all did a good job as well!!!

Food was delicious and special!! never had wedding buffet where the food was so appetizing.

Went TCC to chill out after the dinner and its home sweet home!

The Pump Room on a fri night..

Jas & Co decided to meet up again. And this time, its at The Pump Room @ Clarke Quay.

Been wanted to try out this bristo club for a long time and i had to say i love the experience there!

The food is awesome, service is excellent....but the price is also 'beautiful' too... :(

It turned into the hottest club at night. music and atmosphere were great but too bad we can't stay long enough to enjoy the music.

Game that we played during drinking session. shhhhh~~ its an M18 game...Kinda Naughty but NICE! lol...

shall go back there again sometime for the pub at night.

Alright, i'll have to turn in early today. head starts to feel funny again. last day tml before the long holiday starts! i'm SO looking forward to it!

累垮了！！

YooHoo~~ Hi guys, i'm back. if there is anyone reading my blog.

Anyway, so sorry for the disappearance for 1 month since the last post as i'm really tired and weary everyday after work.

and LOOK! its Feb now! Jan just flew away like *snap snap*

thinking back, i think i've done nothing interesting and meaningful in Jan other than work, go home, slp, work, go home, sleep.... life is damn monotonous and boring. Luckily there're some chalets and dinner going on that spice up my Jan!

working life is killing me!! now then i realise why those adults told us that it is good to be in school studying rather than working outside. During those times, we feel like working is better than schooling cos you can go out and buy anything with your pay.

NOW, i hope that i'm in poly forever~~

anyway, i got the chance to blog today cos J.Ong is on MC. had a super bad headache last night until i vomitted 2 times. never had that kind of pain before and it makes me feel like dying immed.

Lucikly staff got subsidy for medical fees and went to see doc today. Doctor gave me gastic and muscle relax pill. he said that my neck was too stiff after working for a long time without rest and exercise.

this job really kills me to the core. needa meet UPT timing, stress, sales.....shit man...

maybe 1 - 2 more years....by then it is time to change job.. we'll see how it goes.

Chinese New Year + Vday is this weekend!! thankfull for the long weekends for us to play and rest and catchup with love ones.

First is was Christmas and now is the New Year!!!

Happy 2010!!

May this year be a better and prosperous year to all. '2010' this number looks nicer & fuller. Even if there's more and higher obstacles coming the way, i hope all of us can work harder, endure and strive towards our goals.

Said is easier than done, but with the support of family members, friends and love ones ; any worries will be lighten down.

As for me, 2010 is a much tougher year. There'll be more OTs, more time working like zombie, studies and exams to catch-up, more time spending alone during weekends and PH and lesser time to do what i want.

Oh God.. How will be my 2010 be?

2010 will be super different from the past years. Lots of changes, disagreements, unhappiness, giving in, consequences. on top of that, i hope that there'll be more happiness to cover them up.

Alright!, enough of those negative posting.

The Last Friday..

Woke up earlier than usual (during my work time), to send my bro off to Tekong for his BMTC.

well, army life for the youngsters now are really better than 5-6 years ago. Better uniforms and more variety of food rations.

all of us were kinda feeling funny when bidding goodbye after our lunch before they were being called back to gather at the parade square to officially start their training for the next 17 weeks.

hope he can really become a man after 2 years and think more wisely!

After the sending off, mommy and i went down orchard for a short shopping trip. It was quite a rush one for us as she has to get back home at 7 to work.

bought 3 pairs of shoes from Trendy Zone. I'm a regular customer of them cos they have beautiful shoes at affordable prices!!

Suede black shoe. had it in red and blue last time round and its really comfy!

Its so tempting while looking at all the bags in Charles & Keith. i wanna buy like 3!! but kept my wallet tightly ZIPPED today and did not buy any.

Bits & pieces of the past weeks......

was burying myself into the stacks and stacks of books of financial accounting and taxation for the passed 2 weeks and i'm soo GLAD to announce that it's all OVER!!

however it was quite demoralizing after my first paper which is Taxation. Eventhough i studied freaking hard for the passed week by waking up early in the morning and sleeping late at night, i still can't prevent myself from forgetting some information and the hardest paper of all F6 exams.

the paper was a killer!!

Luckily the last paper on wed was quite easy.

I'm at ease somehow thinking that i'll sure pass one paper this time round. well, lets leave it all to the heavenly Father up above for some miricle to happened.

i hope that the F6 paper will get lost somewhere and we'll be asked to retake it again..HAHA!! (what a shit reason)

ANYWAY, its all over now! time for me to take a few days break before my work starts next monday. Pray and hope that everything is well over there!!

Dear had flew to KL for his 'days of enjoyment before commencing work' hols while leaving me here all alone for the weekend. Bet he is happily enjoying the 'No Girlfriend Days' cos he seldom call back. cos no money and even the msg is also so short.. (-_-")....

His friend was so eager for him to join him and i've not much money to spare to go up as well..rates are expensive during the peak season too. Therefore i can only stay in Spore and do my own stuffs..算了吧~~

I'm really looking forward to the day whereby our financial status is better for us to spend on what we like & travel overseas like Taiwan, HK, Macu, Korea, Japan.....as well as treating my parents on hols cos they're really very 可怜 cos they don't get as much chance as us to fly whenever they want.

Girls girls girls....we're dreaming and thinking of unrealistic expectation almost everyday. well, guys just can't blame us for dreaming cos that is just a dream. Hmm..maybe some girls will turn their dream to expectation?? anyway, i think it's the influence of friends, tv..and more gossips and and and...comparison. And i think its more or less due to the financial crisis that we can't do what we want. Therefore, we have to focus on the present and compromise with whatever you have and deal with the issue at the end of the day.

guess I've already popped in the "realistic pill" and still working through my QLC. i'll live through it anyway.

Life is like a doldrums, gradually building up since the start of the year. Been thinking what will be my future like..well..i don't really know..only GOD does...hope it'll be much much better than what i'm doing now.

that's why i must learn to treasure and deal with whatever things i have now. learn to not be that petty, not get hurt easily, to be more clever/knowledgeable, more independent, more realistic, more street-wise, use my brain more, learn to let go (if things doesn't work out), learn to 'swallow' everything, learn not to bother other people with my boring stuffs, learn to trust people more, learn to say "I'm ok" and to take something(s) lightly....

from now on, almost everything has to be on a budget for myself. needa save up money to clear study loans and payment of ACCA fees too. (if i have the money, my load will be lighter by 70%). Gonna pass the sushi buffet with the Gang nxt friday and skip to the movie session at night.

there'll always be the next time :)

ANYWAY: i'm getting so bored from my studies that i stop to think about all these stuffs which magnifies everything. gosh!!

enough of the demoralising post above & i shall stop here...pray that everything goes well(at least i can handle)

on a lighter note, i'm meeting Alfred tomorrow for this post-bday lunch. been such a long time since i catch up with this 'getting more muscular' guy.

Have a break, have a Kitkat!

Ooh...its time to take a break from my books and lets see what are the things that keeps my energy going.

usually when i'm preparing for exams, i'll arrange/clear my table first as i will have lots of space to myself. and when writing notes, post-it stickers will remind you of the impt details. these are the 2 cute notes which i bought sometime back and it comes into good use at the moment!

up next is Za Energy Water. i usually use this after putting on my makeup so it'll last. but you can use it without make up too!! spray some into ur face will make your skin looks better after all the late nights.

signed up for the watsons membership card recently and luckily i got a $2 voucher for Za. Saved some money~~

another thing that i'll not miss is my clay mask! when i'm all stressed out and pimples starting to appear, this is the solution to having smooth and beautiful skin.

went for my contract signing at OCBC centre yesterday. i also did my first interview there and i think they have a mesmerizing view on the 40th floor. it is like those background scene of the director's room on TV.

i thought i'll be working in this building..but :( ....sadly its not.....

so i decided to take some pictures in case i'll not be back there again.

it has a nice view of the whole landscape isn't it?

no wonder directors need these kind of scenery to work and relax in.

Watami II..

Pardon for MIA-ing for the past week.

it had been somewhat a rollercoaster for me!

first thing first, been thinking and worrying about what i'm going to do after my exams. therefore i send out lots of resumes and went for some interviews for the past 3 weeks.

AND finally, i got a job at OCBC! the benefits are quite appealing but the salary is the normal market rate. But it is good enough for a starter like me!

hoping that after a year of experience, there'll be more opportunities and prospect for me! Thank God for the job!

Secondly, been busy engaging into talks with my director but nothing came out of it..so.....

Thirdly, jail break my iphone...and every applications are free!! HAPPY!! :)

Anyway, met up with the gang for dinner last friday. it was fun having arguments with Mr Quek and this shows that i'm not that bad too ya?..haha~~

we ended at a pub playing drinking games as Cine had a power failure which there're no shows available.

had a great night out and looking forward to the next one!!

HairCut w my Bestie!

Shing recommended a 50% off for hair services and we decided to go and try it out at Orchard Central.

the place was like minus 10 degrees and there isn't any interesting shops in the whole of 8 levels of O.C. I personally think that is was a waste of land space and the only attraction was the food there. you'll be spoilt for choices with levels of different cuisines restaurants.

anyway, the salon that we went was called Fox Salon. they have great service! UOB card members are entitled to 50% off.(call to ask for services which have the discount)

we settled for Sake Sushi cos there're queues everywhere.

the haircut and everything is excellent. and the meet up is great even though we talk on msn almost everyday~~

Too much of steamboat lately?

it was a cold evening after hours of rain. dear and i decided to eat something warm and hot.

we went down Upper Thomson for this steamboat buffet which we saw the other time when we pass by. i guess we're the first customer for the evening as no one around. other than the waitress lar~~

their service was GREAT!!

their tom yum soup is a MUST try. its not too spicy and the taste is just right!

i'm not sure our stamina drop or what, but we seems to have a hard time finishing all up!

looking back like 1 year ago, we went to lots of buffets @ different places and we seems to enjoying eating to the max even though we're damn freaking full.

but now, both of us can't take the fullness of the buffet anymore. it makes us more uncomfortable than satisfied.

it'll be another 6 mths before having this kind of meal.

The Night of the Rainy Halloween..

Its my 1st time celebrating Halloween this year and it rained!! anyway, david.man.pen and i went Night Safari for their Spooky Halloween thing.

as it was raining, we gave up the walking part and took the ride twice instead. we sat the wrong one therefore we went for the 2nd time which you'll be scared by creatures of the NIGHT..

there're tons of people waiting to hop on to the ride. and while waiting, we saw 2 female ghosts passed by...they're indeed scary when they look @ into your eyes.

this spec is making me giddy, decided to be my normal self instead.

great curls you have there, ghost! LOL..

decided to have our dinner at their high class food court.

but chicken rice is selling at $17 bucks per set.

Make-up and beauty necessities..

OKAY, after reading all these, you'll will know where some part of my money went to.

but i'm happy for all my buys!! :)

this season is a bad bad one as i'm going to take my study leave (as mentioned below). and there goes my pay for 1 whole month afterwards.

and worst still, most of my make-up essentials are running dry! concealer, pressed powder, moisturiser......... i have combination and sensitive skin, therefore there's limited brands which i can use. (eg MAC pressed powder will cause pimples, bodyshop eyecream will cause redness and skin peeling effect....so those are NO-NO)

no wonder its Halloween, cos all the vampires came and sucked my money $$$$ away.

decided to try this concealer from Bobbi Brown as is was recommended by top beauty magazines. It has excellent coverage but don't use it often, if not you can't live without it.

i've been using Bobbi Brown's moisturizer and eye cream and i have to say it is one of the best products i ever use.

This is a new powder from Chanel and highly recommend by makeup artists. It comes with a sponge and flat brush for easy coverage which i think its great!

Lucikly i used vouchers to buy it. if not..... OH MY GOODNESS~~

alright!, that all for my stock up of make-up. hopefully it can last me for quite a long while.

Exam season -- once again..

time passes fast. and its the time again for burying of books. well for me at least.

i'll be taking my exam break in 2 weeks time and hopefully i'll be back again as a new person or in a new role.

lots of talking and educating done lately..and i realised that i'm not been planning for my future well enough. well, that is shitty i guess..and i've gotta start to be wise from now on.

truth hurts..but at least it is true..guess my immunity is stronger than i thought.

anyway, we're on budget nowadays so dear wipe up some dishes during the weekends..and guess what? i'm doing the washing of pots and pans as well as cooking the main thing... RICE ~~

the truth is, ma pou doufu and black bean chicken are good!

bought this pack of mashmallow from cold storage someday. and i'm loving it!

for mashmalleow lovers out there, this is one good brand that you can try.

it is a good company for you in a sat afternoon at home with your book in hand and a cup of hot chocolate. ~~ yum yum~~

went down marina to visit penny and saw this poster with lots of signatures of F1 racers.

Anniversary - THE 3RD...

Our anniversary this year was a budget one. no celebrations or watsoever. just a few heart-warming msgs and piceces of cakes to brighten up the day.

save us some money from those expensive restaurants and services tax.

as usual, there'll be a card for dear every year.

as the time goes by, we've already been through our 3rd year. i believe both of us have grown up in one way or another and this year is especially a challenging stage for us as there're many changes everywhere. as well as the ability to adapt to each others lives.

I thank God for bringing him into my life and filling me with happiness and laughter. hope that there're still many anniversaries ahead of us. love ya!

The Wedding @ Amara Resort (Sentosa)...

This is one of the best wedding dinner i've went so far! but take into consideration of the place and money put into it, thats is why the everything was so good.

Guests with cars were all entitled to have their own valet service! following that, we're all treated to refreshments before the dinner starts. professional photographers taking each shot of the guests and their wishes.and that will be played immediatley when the dinner starts!

(all photos were taking by my iphone! i think the 3GS quality is good!!)

Every guests were in their best form of attire(i guess all were very rich...tats why lar..)

luckily i'm still presentable..hee hee~

they invited guest players to keep us entertained throughout the whole dinner and i thought they look familar. its either they're on TV before or from a well known pub.

guests were able to dedicate songs too!!

okay, so i said this is the best wedding so far right? not only the service is good...but their service is super excellent!! each table have assingned waiter for all relatives! and they'll ask like: "Excuse me mdm, what drink would you like? do u prefer champange or beer?"

BUT, i think their dinner was the most amazing part. i feel like i'm eating a $200 course of meal. EVERY bits and pieces of every dishes were not spared until the waiter collected back the serving dish.

i'm a person who don't like wasabi but i'm loving this dish cos the wasabi was like 1% of the whole dish and the butter and potato covered the rest.

about 2 weeks ago, it was Hari Raya Puasa. I received these hand-made cookies from my neighbour. aunty bakes the tastiest cornflakes cookies ever!!

as i was saying, the shopping with shing @ ION is one of the activities which i'm only looking forward to.

there's a bebe private show and we spotted 2 super charming guys standing at the entrance of the door. they must be model cos even aunties who are passing by wanna get a photo of them taken with the hunks..

went in malaysia last friday to do the usual stuff..and i bought some cheap etude house products and the lady gave me a poster. and it turned out to be....

but the 'You are my girl' makes the whole poster awkard..haha~~

so happy that my birkenstocks had arrived! love the red patent cos i bought it at a cheaper price than those in retail.

Sweet and simple..

oh well, nothing much been happening lately. its the same everyday.

AND yest afternoon, my colleagues and i suddenly have the urge to drink KOI bubble tea.

therefore, we cabbed down people's park shopping/complex to have our lunch and shop around.

the fee there was like less than 1 bucks each which is like very cheap! i have a feeling that we'll be doing this often..hee hee~~~

shit! too much bubble tea is not good.

anyway, we walk around and i bought egg tarts which cost like 3 for $4.50. It looks like those in Macao that's why i bought it. 1 for dear and 1 for my family.

indeed it taste almost the same as the ones sold in Macao but i still preferred Macao's Portuguese traditional egg tarts.

Every girl i believe will love the little blue box.

and as i was coming to work this morning, i saw a lady carried a BIG BLUE BOX!!! i wonder what is really inside..

it must have cost a lot too.

you'll learn more when everything is simple. its not a bad thing afterall.....

as my church choir was preparing for the performance on Christmas day, i decided to go youtube to look at some performances.

i came across this group of 4 women and a violinist (aka Celtic Woman) and was hooked to their performance for the whole of yest's afternoon. they have the best angelic voices ever!

Wedding of the year..

everyone of my friends are so glued to '芳心有李' programme where they'll show the process and interviews of Fann & Chris wedding.

and i believe most of us can't wait to get home and catch the live telecast of the long waited wedding dinner and see what they'll wear, what happened in the morning and who are the stars who went.

900 guests, almost the whole mediacorp was there.

i think their wedding is super super glamours and it cost half a mil. that is why it is glamours lar. LoL..

stages in life...

pardon for not updating anything last week cause there really aren't!!

went over to ruiqi's 21st last saturday at Changi.

the cake is really delicious!!!

will upload the photos once she has it.

and thanks to warren for driving us to and fro. cos if there's no car, we'll be having a hard time going in and out.

anyway, nothing much is happening but got ourselves enrolled into a class which is somewhat funny sometimes but learn quite a few things about the future and planning and all those..

its quite informative and lots of things going to be done when we come to that stage.

anyways, its another day for KOI bubble tea!!

i had a small cup this time round and it taste just as nice as the big one.

thanks again for the treat from my colleague that brighten the dull souls in office today!

some changes are going to happen in office, hope that i can have what i want and just earn more money for this few years.

it'll be another 3 more months before 2009 is going to end. and Christmas will be just around the corner.

don't you think that time passes extremely fast?

everyone will be old again. more responsibilities, goals, wants, needs, planning.....will be coming up and catching up on us.

we'll need to take care of more and more things. slowly getting out of our comfortable zones and go into reality.

Happy Birthday to my Man!!!

Last weekend was dear's bday...so i decided to bring him out for a surprise dinner with his friends @ Watami - ION..but......... due to some circumstances, he knew it from his fren..

well, no more surprise but i think we all enjoyed the dinner really well. the food and company was great!!

took lots of photos outside Wheelock with the glamours ION. feeling almost like tourists for that 20 mins.

the view is really nice.

and there's another dinner after church for the birthday boy @ Northpoint.

food portion is really small for the 8 of us, and service is shitty.

Too much food caused us to be tired from monday till now.

i shall eat less and rest more.

'a.n.g.e.l.s' outing to Swensen...

went back to Ion's swensen for the 1 for 1 ice-cream buffet again last wednesday..

it's a blessing to eat good food but i'm getting tired of all the buffets and 'table full of food' for every weekends..

need to stop eating so much for the next few months..hee hee~~

anyway, this time we tried different kinds of ice-cream and gelatos..

Marks the beginning..

its another meet up and this time its for LiNz's 22nd post birthday dinner..

their service was much much better than Fish & Co.

when she thought that her birthday was way way over and there'll not be any surprise...

she was wrong!!

there came the waiter and waitress with small bells and tambourines singing the Birthday Song with a Glace cake especially from tanjong pagar..

chocolate was her favourite.

so we gave her a box of Royce chocolate too!

Hee hee hee..

anyway, i don't have classes the next day so i stayed at home waiting for the arrival of my iphone 3GS..

the phone was good!!

everything was at the tip of ur finger.

finally i have a phone which is useful to the max!

its another 饱到吐的weekend. a welcome back dinner for Anna!

this time its at Arab Street and the food is delicious!! but before that, we went to top up on our diamonds for the nails~~

next up is RedDot @ Dempsey Hill.

the atmosphere and live band is excellent!

looking back at the past weekends, i think we're been eating too much food. its time to cool down, save our wallets and shed some fats.

lets try some fresh salads and fruits next week.

a weekend in JB..

its time again to go in and get cheap contacts lenses and cheap food too! our afternoon lunch was in a korean bbq restaurant and its cheap than what i had in ECP!

not sure the food is nice or kimchi is too sour..haha~~

after much shopping and cheap discounts, we settled our dinner at Taman Sentosa. another place with cheap food.

friday buys from daiso..

and the offer items from JB. everything in faceshop City Square is super cheap than singapore.

nail polish is SG $1 plus. and the eye mask is SG $4 plus while in spore is $10/pack.

Ok..enough shopping for now!!

NDP 2009 - Come Together!

used everyone's name and Dear's name finally hit the Jackpot! we got the NDP tickets!!

went to watch it with my mom and his family.

the Goodie bag given this year is quite good.

and i love the heart shape light!

we reached there early for parking lots and shop at Marina Square before gettin seated at 5 plus.

i bought a bag while shopping..hee hee~~

the man doing funny stuff with the drum again.

i think this year's NDP is much much better. performance wise is more free and modern. lots of retro songs and concerts and less of mass display.

Ice-Cream & Dessert buffet @ ION.

how was your long weekend?

mine was great!! 3 days of majong, shopping and buffet @ ION, and watching NDP live!

anyway, never did i imagine that we'll eat the dessert buffet that soon. but here we are at ION's Swensen. we're lost in the shopping centre for quite a while.

the 50 flavours of ice-cream was DAMN GOOD!!! love my peach mango yogurt and o'l vanilla!

forgot to bring my camera along, so here are the blurred photos.

everywhere was damn crowded so we didn't shop that much.

shall go back another time to try the LV and other stores.

bought some brushes and ck perfume cos they're on a 70% discount outside Tangs.

the photographer shot a few pictures for us and make it into postcards!!

i HATE food poisoning.... :(

took MC today cos i had a mild food poisoning. the feeling sucks to the core. been tired for the whole day all thanks to the many times of running to toilet.

hope i can go back to work tml cos i don't have paid MC!!!

Weeeee~~~ its friday again! means a short day in office and a longer night later in the day.

another of my colleague is leaving today.. :(

its only left with me and my lunch from next week onwards.

its difficult describing my office layout to friends. so here are some photos of the office. the whole area here offices which are converted from shop houses. the shop houses are listed as one of the historical building, therefore the scenery around here are quite beautiful.

can't wait for the Tai tai's hang out tml. they're be coming my hse for our farewell lunch and meetup for Abby cos she is going to Italy!

East Coast Park with the dudes..

the weather was extremely good on saturday. no rain, and not too sunny too.

therefore we went for our inaugural picnic of the year @ E.C.P

was quite bothered how to do down there but luckily they drove.

took sometime to find our cozy spot and its time for lunch!!

they pitched the tents because of picnic atmosphere..

Saw this caucasian family with their own yacht.. freaking rich!

we started playing UNO, heart attack, MAJONG!, and take stupid photos of others..this is fun!!

packed up everything and went for 2 hrs of exercise. cycling & skating.

i'm having a bit of muscle ache after 1.5 hrs of cycling..

we proceed to a famous Korean Restaurant for our dinner. their dishes are so exotic but their chicken meat is nice!! we had our whole table full of side dishes.

cos side dishes is free flow, so we order.. Order..oRder...and ORDER again.

ended the day with everyone's stomache is full of kimchi and meat but all of us really enjoyed ourselves.

its a FUN FILLED day!!

A day with no chocolate..

my throat is getting much better by the day but the heat still persists.

and that makes me can't eat the chocolate cake for Lynn's 22nd party on the weekends. boo hoo~~ i can't eat anything that is baked, grilled, fried....

its damn torturous..

we bought some nice BIG cream puffs and cake and headed down ECP. while waiting for jas and kel, we went Sheng Song for some 'shopping'..

been playing with lots of self-timer shots. Conclusion: Canon Ixus is an Excellent camera. Sony too! Casio....can throw away already~~

the cab back to yishun almost killed my wallet.. -_-"

It is the start of another week..and its monday again. bet all of us can't run away from our monday blues, if you have.

work is going to be as usual another than i'm moving to another table which takes me out of my comfy area. less of fb and more of work. haiz~~

this weekend, its Zhen's 21st @ her house . this is an advantage of having a big house cos rental of venue is FOC and it can accommodate lots of people!! i can have my house party whenever i like!

can't leave a day without sickness..

finally received all the pics from vic's 21st party.

and the meetup for Chicken Hot Pot for js's bday..the hot pot is nice lar..but not tat spicy is good..haha~~

was sick over the weekends....yes..AGAIN~~~i'm a sick girl...

luckily dear is there to drive me to the doctor..

i think my tonsilities came back again. the pain the the throat is unbearable. it makes me no appetittie, headaches and ear pain. luckily i went to see my doctor in time and i'm slowly recovering now. took MC yest to avoid the monday blues..HAHA~~~no lar....to see doc.

i think i have a super weak body since like 2 years ago? all because of the late nights, ktv,clubbing when i was still young. now i felt like i'm super old. physically old. climb 4 floors will get breadthless.

came to think of it, since last year, i cannot leave a day without any sickness. its like i'm pulling an invincible big sickness ball everyday.

argh~~~ i really hope i can be like before.no worries and fear about my health. what is freaking stupid problem with my body?!?!?!

those working in CBD area, can you remember that there's a heavy downpour on wednesday morning?

yes, the HEAVY rain caused a human jam at Tanjong Pagar Exit. i can't even get the chance or have the space to climb up cause everyone was waiting for the rain to stop or the rain is too heavy or they don't have umbrella. its so exaggerating and hilarious at the same time. the jam even boast up the business in Tanjong Pagar Exchange as everyone was busy waiting and having breakfast.

luckily i saw my fren and all 3 of us found a place to have our breakfast while waiting for the crowd to disperse.

everyone was stucked there..NOT MOVING AT ALL.

we stayed until 930 before walking over to office.what a morning~

Oh well, friday is here and its time for all to rest. the army ppl is super busy with NDP things and we girls have to find something meaningful to do....like ..........shopping?

The revenge of the Fallen..

finally, we've caught Transformers II on an early saturday morning. and the movie is damn GOOD!! non-stop action from the start till the end. there's gonna be another transfomer III on the way~

did milkshake on sat for potluck and i think it is good! next time we can save money and enjoy restaurant standards drinks in the comfort of our own home~~

i think i'm addicted to Patisserie Glace ever since i tried their cakes. This time we bought back their cheese tarts to office and mine is a Mango flavour. and its soooo nice!!!

when i get my pay i'll try every flavours they have. its so nice to be eaten~~

Time check is 5.47pm and my monday is going to end soon. cannot be any happier..will be meeting js & Co for dinner/bday celebration afterwards.

however on a side note, school is starting this thursday. and its time for another semester of study study and study..*yawns* hope that i can be able to put in more effort to get better grades this time round.

suddenly there're like so many things on my mind now. install home internet, recontract phone plan, cancel MIO, buy zara/mango skirt, buy phone..............

and most imptly, my pay have to come in faster.

well well, looks like its time for me to knock off..

life is a fragile one..

woke up this morning to find my dad telling me tat Michael Jackson passed away. i double confirm by asking him if its one of the family members or whoever which is linked to him.

but i got my answer from the radio itself.

another news about another actress died of cancer again when i went online in the morning.

life is really like a paper. you don't know when will u be coloured or teared into half, or crushed into a ball and being thrown away.

nowadays many people died with pain or sickness. is this what will become of us when we're old. unhealthy diets, less exercise are the cause to every sickness and even cancer..omg~ i cannot imagine what will we become if we're old or what will become of the next next generations.

well, to tell the truth, i'm really unhealthy lar. no time to exercise and whatsoever. but i don't eat much pork, beef or lamb. guess i'm been trying to push myself to exercise from like last year?!?! lol.....its been a year and this is still under review in my resolution.

after seeing what H1N1 causes and everyone dying @ a young age, i have to resume my EXERCISE!! i'll start from swimming then..hee~~

ANW, its the weekends again! with all the virus spreading around, i think its better to stay home and do some fun cooking over the weekend. how i wish i have a nice kitchen and can bake all sort of desserts that i like..

and this just reminded me about GREAT SINGAPORE SALES!!!.......i didn't buy a single thing on offer yet!?!?!......i'm not sure to be happy or sad..nice clothes, nice shoes, nice bags..............all offer................and i'm not free/tired/not feeling well/no money...and its going to end SOON!!

argh..makes me feel so contradicting..

Enough for the grumbles and its time for me to head back to my work.

what a hot day..

the weather today was so hot. i can't wait to get back to office after ordering my take away lunch. went back to the famous pastry shop to buy some frozen cheese tarts for my parents. they'll definitely enjoy it.

finally got my starhub box installed on the spot yesterday night and we're going to cancel our MIO next week. i can't wait to get MIO out of my house cos it is really a disturbance with low & slow internet connection and faulty home line.

my hand phone is getting haywire soon, guess i need to save up to buy a new phone. still considering which phone to get..

everyday is so boring..i need cures....

suddenly feel like going clubbing, shopping, ikea walk walk, movies...

so much things to do, but no money..

sitting and facing computer for long hours will give me shoulder and muscle aches. therefore i went online and search for those relaxation equipments and i found these.

this cost $9,688!!

i think the price can cure whatever sickness i have..

this is a good equipment after a long day of standing up or shopping~~

i think this is still ok to buy. other than shoulder ache, it can helps to slim down too.

haiz..if i can afford it, i'll buy the shoulder massager back for my parents and myself to enjoy~~

Doldrums stay long..

ever felt like you are in a ship/boat for 4 days without winds and it is not moving at all?

this is what it is called.

many a times there're would be doldrums here and there. to the point that nothing is moving as usual. or rather nothing is moving as what it was before.

what i've learn is wait....wait..........and wait.............

wait until there's a breeze or winds to make the ship move again..once again, everything is back to normal. gone are the doldrums.....

but you'll never know when it'll hit you again. when it does, there's nothing you can do but to wait all over again..

the time in office feels like doldrums too. with me and my 2 computers. they are the best companion.

just like the 'Old churches' i heard last fri in my band's concert, some people just can't appreciate simple things like the bells and some silence..but we can.

there're still so much things for us to wait about..other than waiting, there's still left one importand thing.

yeah! its the weekends. and its time to nua at home too!

just went cathay's website and i found out that i've lost touch with whatever movies that are coming out. there's quite a number of them which i have not seen yet. like Night @ the museum....

anyway, here are the 3 shows which are going to be out soon..thats right! final destination is going to be out again. it think its the very last part. The Haunting is not bad too!

so lets look forward to what ever its coming!

i'm going for my sec band's 10th Anniversary Concert after work w Abby and Ai hui. its been long since we hear some classical music since we graduated.

dear got duty tml and tat means i'll stay at home until evening for church practice and GM hse..

well, i guess we're getting 'old' ler...sometimes just wanna stay at home. play some mj, play some Cluedo, and chill.

last sat was a busy one as we went PC show and queued for freaking 5 hrs, went to vickie's 21st party and penny's bday celebration + supper at midnight.

up next was penny's surprise bday and super @ upper thomson in a place call Tang Shui XXXX(forgot whats full name)

their desserts are nice and portion are big too!

H1N1 virus is spreading viciously in Spore, and there's an article which featured about the amount of germs before/after you wash your hands.

after reading this article, i think i should really wash even more.

isn't that scary? so people, don't anyhow use your hands to pick things up to eat before washing.

Patisserie Glace - by Chef Yamashita

was back to work yesterday and passed by Glace during lunch time.

The place is just behind my workplace. I've heard lots of great comments on their cake and pastries.

therefore, i bought 3 pieces to try.

it taste better than Canele's and much much better than bakerzin's.

dear and i ate all 3 pieces and he sincerely agreed that all taste excellent!

Days without exams are a blessing..

my exams are Finally over!

be it what is the outcome, i'll try to enjoy myself as much before work resumes next week~~ no money thats why have to work..haiz~~

anyway, went to catched a movie (which i had not done for a long time) with penny yesterday.

The movie is quite nice and funny too. at the end, the one you love is the one u try to protect the most.

there're also other excellent movies coming out too! i wanna watch transformers next time!

went to KangXi Exhibition the other day. i don't quite like museum but its KangXi therefore we went to take a look. i still think museum is not suitable for us lar..haha~~
